Virtual Martial Arts Championship 2009steaven seagal has been under estimated! For me seagal got me in two aikido and i will train till i die. steven seagal is a sleeping giant, he is a 7th dan black belt and has been training since he was 7 years old he then moved to japan when he was 19 to improve his aikido he is truly a hard man, just because his films are not as good as jet li's has nothing to do with whos butt he would kick in real life he dos'nt have to flip and make weird noises he kicks butt effortlesly in true aikido fashion using the least energy to cause the most damage heres my top 5 of who i think would win in a fight, Bering in mind this is when they were all in there prime! 1) Bruce lee 2) Steven seagal 3) Jackie chan 4) jean claude van damn 5) Jet li (size is nothing but it helps!) Underestimating ur oppenent is the first mistake u could make! did they teach u nothing? Thank you.

Seagal the bad guy
The problem with seagal's films now is that they just rehash the old ground. He's not as photogenic anymore and the fight scenes are more camera work than Aikido.
He always has to play the good guy. What he needs mto do is play the baddie in a really decent film, like Carradine did in Kill Bill. It would be great fun. Reaction by:

I agree that those who you named in your post are truly magnificent fighters. however, they are all overshadowed by one name. all of these fighter-extraordinaires pale in comparison to anne frank. she could kick ass. don't judge her by her size, sickliness, girliness, or dead-ness. she was the first artistic destroyer- yes she wrote a book too. there was nothing she could not do. she was a lover and a fighter (actually she died before she could do much lovin', but that's beside the point), a renaissance girl if you will. if only she were still alive, then i could build a shrine to her without it being creepy. i mean how often is there someone who still kicks ass even though she was arrested and put in a concentration camp. she was so hardcore that she continued her disciplined work-out regimine while she was confined in her cell. the horrifying images only reinforced her resolve to kick some german ass. contrary to popular belief, anne frank died while she was trying to irradicate her captors. her downfall was a machine gun nest that was concealed from her view. sadly, anne frank was blown to pieces. anne frank, this one's for you. too bad you died. qotsa, it is hard for us to understand your 'special brand of wisdom' when you have left comments of the state you have.
everyone here has told their martial arts, how long they have been doing so and their opinions on other martial arts and martial artists. please state your art and length of time... do so if you at least want some of your stuff to be taken seriously. To ask someone to leave when they have done nothing wrong weakens your wisdom. Hands Down has told his style, length, and has stated his views on martial arts... so far you haven't; if anyone is to leave (which they shouldn't if they follow what this site is about) it should be you. After all of your commets you have not really shared any veiws on martial arts, or even yourself except from your "wisdom". Until you can proove otherwise, i will take you not one for wisdom, but for a fool. And at this point in time you haven't expressed your martial art... so are you really a martial artist? seagul would murder jet li hands down!!!!jet li wouldnt land a finger on him.wut shape ur body is in has no real effect on ur abilities till u r medically clamed obese!!!!jet li is fast but has an incredible advantage in reach and expierience and on top of that seagul is extremely watered down in his movies.The only thing i dont like about seagul is that he is an exteme enviromentalist, i mean thats cool but hes done like six movies of him savin a small town or the world from pollution!!!!!!!!

you have no reaspect toward form and discipline akido is a true form of survival and a awesomely focused mind, it takes the utmost self respect to endure total concentration of not only power but of the smallest movement. if you have taken martial arts then you would know the streches of the human body and the deepest doors of the mind. let me put it into child like terms for you all: here is a rating of what you could put the masters into: 1. seagal- form,power,not as much on the legs it gives more balance. 2. jet li- technique, speed, power in a smaller form. 3. van dam- fitness, form, power, flexiblity. 4. jackie chan- pain tolerance, everything is a weapon. 5. bruce lee- total master of the body, uses more than one form, power dirived from the waist, speed, calculates the enemy. 6. chuck norris- form, over comes enemies power, total control of body. look at this and take into perspective the differences and similarities, and look at yourself in their shoes.

Hi, All Bruce and jackie are actors in a real combat against true legend they'll be KO'd. Best fighter ever are muay thai fighters like: Apidej Sit Hirun (340 wins/10 losses/1 draw) = this fighter once broke both arms of an apponent. His kick was so powerful that he broke a fighter thigh bones. Apidej has been officially given the title of best kicker ever and best fighter of last century by the king of thailand. Diesel Noi = knockout so many apponents with his knees.. beaten many quality fighter including ramon dekker. only lost 4 fights in his career buakaw por. pramuk = 2004, 2006 k1 max champion. lost only 7 out of his 155 pro fights. Samkor = probably the 2nd best kicker ever. had over 200 pro fights and 300 amateur. |
