After long discussions over msn and email we decided to start the vmac now. We selected 64 movie fighters to compete in the first virtual martial arts championships.

We also discussed the length of the rounds, and decided that a day is to short for a fight. So we make the rounds a week. So people can promote their favorites by using modern weapons like mailinglists and forums. Because of the longer period the final will be in 2007, so the champion will be the 2007 champion.

The fights have been fought, Bruce Lee is the Champion. You can nominate your fighters for the 2008 edition here.

We picked 10 favorites, those favorites will not fight to each other in the first rounds. The last 8 fighters will be the favorites for next year.
