Vary

Its vary good, it mainly consist of fist forms, weapon forms, partner sets, and the 108 locking hand techniques. It builds stranght and flexibility, Dragon style is what i have learn along with some others,Dragon is best in my opinion it helps you control yourself and this style teches you to defend yourself in a agressive but controled enviorment and sutes any situation. The style uses techniques that can cripple or kill an opponent if the need arises. 柔功門. Sub Zero uses this style in mortal combat. It is also Liu Kang's grapple style in Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. Duck kung fu is also a wise choice any one of them is good as long as it sutes u and ur needs.

take it

Eagle clawis a very good style of Kung Fu. it was developed to guard the emporer, designed to take out any fighter within 3 seconds.
if it is traditional eagle calw i'd take it, but if its wushu then i woulnd't
a lot of people claim they teach it traditionally, but it turns out to be a false statement, so do a little research on the club first

link

what

my name is mohtashim not vary

link

....

eagles claw is good -if your being trained by a chinese grandmaster that lived on a mountain top- my style is jeet kune do. and it helps alot. no one can beet me. but yeah, its rare to find a eagles claw school. it would be good

link

wtf?!

no one can beat you eh? i bet thats easy to say from the safety of your computer, your probably some skinny 8 yr old nerd who gets bullied everyday... hm... no where have i heard that before?!?! :S

link

biggup

yeah mate no1 can beat me im the greatest cos i say so and you cant prove different screw all the martial artists all over the world who've trained 4 yrs to turn themselves into weapons, nah mates id blaps em out.
you fucking retard who do you think you are, tell you what if you're from UK I challenge you to a full contact fight, we'll see who wins, or if not from UK then Im sure their's some1 from your country on here who'll fight.
for the record not saying i represent all other martial artists i just think this little prick needs some respect.

link

lol

dizzyjim cracks me up man u guyz need to calm down reduce the testosterone a lil bit. you all call urselves martial artists yet some of u get hyped and angry so quickly and easily. hopefully this doesnt reflect ur skills as a martial artists coz if it does u must be pretty shitty

link

dude

im saying no street fighter can beet me. there are ppl in my martial arts class that can woop me so bad. they teach me what my si fu doesnt. they say they never lost a fight. its unordinary for a street fighter to beet a martial artist. im not saying im the best in the world. a martial artist has a lot more knowledge in fighting than a street fighter. to a street fighter a punch is a punch, a kick is a kick. to a martial artist its way different. most free stylests dont even kick. first cuz there legs need stretching and second cuz they dont work on there legs. my si fu is 70 yrs old and he can do 6 kicks in the air before dropping. no streetfighter ever did that. martial arts has more to offer.

link

true true

martial arts has more to offfer than street fighting, but it doesn't mean that its better.ihave had a street fight, and he wasn't a martial artist, give me a huge amount of trouble! and they use their legs, but mainly for knees, the prefered attack is a roundhouse puinch, because its the natural movement, and our instict way to punch

link

....

usually they just youse their legs to kick someone when they're on the floor. maybe i wasnt thinking strieght when i wrote that no one can beet me. i just got out of a huge gang fight and i was shocked that i was fighting so many ppl at the same time and yet all of them got an asswooping. of course after something like that happens your ganna say that no one can beet you. where i live ppl fight good. they play sports so it makes them a little stronger and alot of ppl work out. their always picking for a fight. they fight better than most street fighters. so dizzy, you cant threaten me, anyone in my nieborhood can kick your ass, no problem. what makes you think that you can. i have a bunch of friends that live where i do and they are from uk. they go back alot to visit. just dont over estemate your self.

link

wait wait wait

arn't you now over estimating yourself, and your friends against dizzy?

link

dead rite

you cant say that at all how do u know that u can beat him u just dont know n how do u know that he has loads of mates who r hard aswel n can beat u and ur mates arses. Like my sifu says "never underestimate ur opponant"!

link

but but..

i didnt say i can beat him, he said that if i have friends in my nieborhood that are in uk, he'l be sure to fight them so i answered. and i wasnt underestimating him, i was talking to him about underestimating me. there, discussion is over. whats past is past.

Martial Arts
i have been doing tai kwon do for about a year now and i also practice wing chun kung fu. in terms of what you might want, wing chun gets the job done...well and fast. you don't need to be strong, the style is strong by itself. tai kwon do is flashy and requires you to use brute strength. i enjoy both styles. Capoeira was also another style i tried it was great and very flashy, if your choosing just for...

there is no best martial art, now days, unless you want to be a professional fighter, or you need to know fighting for your job, there is no reason why you should need to know more than self defence, incase you fall intoa situation where you need to defend yourself, or someone else. but the answer lies within what can martial arts do for you, and what do you want to gain out of martial arts; whether it be fitness, self...

My *opinion*
I have tryed TKD for a year and a half.. I can see how it can be a good martial art.. but I had way to much art and not enough martial... If you find a good teacher then it is great and it is great in fights. I tryed kun fu.. it is great.. I loved it, my teacher did a lot of slef defense.. I am not sure if I liked it because he did a lot of...

Bruce wasn't the first to bring Eastern MA over to the West. Edward William Barton-Wright, for example, brought Judo and Jiu-Jitsu from Japan to Europe well over half of a century before Lee's time. He even combined the styles with Western martial arts such as stickfighting, savate, boxing, and wrestling. Eastern martial arts, as well as Lee's ideas, received much attention due to his movies. They were both popularized even though they were not necessarily new.
