Depends

It depends on what you're looking for.
Do you mean best as in
taking down an opponent or best as in
training you're physique or...
I can go on forever like this,
you have to be more precise!

jeet kune do

you'll like it

i know this is at least the thousanth time ive sed it, but dnt worry bout style learn to punch, learn to kick, and learn conditioning, then all you need is a sparring partner and a heavy bag

listen dude

it doesnt matter what style you choose, as long as you train. train hard. as long as your deticated, it wont even matter what martial arts you do. if your really dedicated youll beat anyone. why do you think bruce was so good, not for his style, but for his dedication into martial arts. it wouldnt matter if you did 50 different styles, if your not dedicated to them then your no good. just train, in and out of classes, if you want to be a good martial artist then train like no one before. you wont be good if you dont train, no matter what moves you do. you need to practice, same way you need to study to get smarter, you have train to get better. okay? okay.

styles

I know first hand that you don't have to take 20 different styles to be a good martial artists. Like I've said before, I've taken karate, judo, tae kwan do, jido kwan, goju ryu, kung fu, boxing, wrestling and currently muay thai and jujitsu. If I knew then what I know now when I first started I would have concentrated only on kung fu, muay thai, boxing and jujitsu. I don't regret that I trained in the other styles though. I'm actually glad I have experience in those disciplines. A style is what you make of it. I consider muay thai practitioners some of the most dangerous fighters in the world, but that doesn't mean that a tae kwan do master couldn't beat a muay thai fighter. Simply put, it's not the style, it's the practioner.

Hey, I really like this forum.
It's cool to see what other people think and believe about some of the most famous martial artists. I was reading gunz's and lohan?'s comments, and then looked at the long list, and stopped reading right around where lohan said that he respected gunz. idk, if this forum is outdated, and that my comment will mean nothing... but here are my two cents anyway... Bruce Lee is great. Jet Li is great. Jackie Chan... is just crazy. Ha :) I think that...

Why Jackie chan would not last 1 round with bruce lee.
Bruce Lees style that he created himself jeet kwan do. (the art on no style). Ranked supreme during his time it broke down the all of the of the flaws of gung fu, kung fu, shaolin, boxing mu thai, judo etc. Jeet kwan do was all of the style combined into one style. If Jackie chan came at bruce with just his simple shaolin munk fighting style it would only be seconds before Bruce Lee would pick him apart. I...

Bruce lee is the greatest "why?"
Bruce lee is the greatest because he was the best at every popular fighting style at his time. If he lived in our era he would have studied brazilian jui jitzu and all of the other styles that have emerged in the ufc, k-1 etc. The best fighter is the who can adapt to all styles and that was what bruce lee was all about he trained and worked harder than any fighter ever. If there was a modern day...

The Bruce Lee Diet
Obviously people associate Bruce Lee as being a master of martial arts who appeared in many films and had quite an amazing life. But one thing people may not be aware of is that Bruce Lee had a very strict diet which he stuck to, to keep him performing at the peak of his fitness. The Bruce Lee Diet consists of various factors which we will examine below. Obviously before even thinking about copying the Bruce Lee Diet, you should consult...

I was student in this school, www.yantaikungfu.com I left in advance last winter. there are a little students in total during my stay. I just love these guys who write on forums and tell us how Sensie Segal can't fight. During my life I had the pleasure of training with the late Sensie Shigeru Kimura and Sifu Mark Stewart. They had one thing in common and that was the respect of other MA. Age and and obvious wieght problem may not have been kind to Sensie Segal but make no mistake he is one of the toughest MA who ever graced a dojo. I'm new...
