The guy who did Muay Thai.

Why do you say that???

Why did you create this thread???

I just wanted to get peoples opinions on which art they believed would be more successful

Theres an old legend that says a Thai boxer was banished from Thailand and fled to Burma. There he encountered a burmese fighter whom he defeated. The king(or wateva) was impressed and put up his 3 best Burmese Boxers against the Thai Boxer, one after the other the Thai Boxer was victorious, and so the King made him his best bodyguard... you get the picture. This is only a legend anyway.

Basically, Buremese Boxing or "Lethwei" is something like the Muay Thai punches, kicks, elbows and knees except they have less empahasis on technique, in fact the entire art has a lot less emphasis on technique, unlike Muay Thai. Burmese Boxing is like a smaller and less effective version of Muay Thai except it uses Headbutts. Lethwei was probably developed by people who fought on the street since most of its fights back in the day were fought to almost death or death in sand pits.

Yet if the two were to clash as you say, the Muay Boran guy would own simply because Muay Thai is a better art for reasons i cannot be bothered explaining, Burmese Boxer stands a chance is he gets a good headbutt but whos to say the Muay Thai guy wont.

Truth
I was student in this school, www.yantaikungfu.com I left in advance last winter. there are a little students in total during my stay. It's cold outside,ice-cold room inside, but master Qu didn't even provide any heat system for us,and deducted more than forty percent of my deserved refund without any reasons when I decide to leave earlier.what a fraud he is.and I aslo heard from the translator that the true name of the school is not so called"traditional kungfu school" ,he just put...

Fearless Trailer
Jet Li portrays the life of martial arts master Huo Yuanjia. The plot differs greatly from the actual life of Huo Yuanjia. The movie starts off with Huo Yuanjia fighting 3 Westerners: a boxer, a spearfighter and a fencer. Huo Yuanjia beats them all, and makes it his habit to bow to the opponent. Just as he is about to fight Anno Tanaka, the final contestant, Huo Yuanjia has a flashback. The story flashes back to when Huo Yuanjia was a small...
